Obtaining Parts for a 1970's Triples and links to great sites.

It isn't easy I can tell you. Some of the parts are available at Yamaha still, so it is worth trying them first. Make friends with a local engineering shop because some of the bits will need to be made.

The key I found was to be patient and if all else fails buy from eBay. These are some of the places I have obtained parts for the bike. I'm not sponsored by them and don't endorse any of them, and I'm not saying that they're the cheapest, I just found that they were good for getting parts and their service was pretty good.

E-mail the users of the UK forum as they likely have what your after sitting in their garage at home. http://yamahatriplesUK.myfreeforum.org
